Welcome to Bradley Napier Design
Bradley Napier Design was founded by Ann Napier in 2017 to showcase the creative artwork and designs created at her studio near Blairgowrie, Scotland.
After studying foundation Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, Ann transferred to Heriot-Watt University to complete her BA (Hons) Design for Textiles – specialising in woven textile design.
After graduating she worked in the industry for 7 years with Replin Fabrics at Marchstreet Mills in Peebles Scotland. When the mill closed it gates in 2015 an opportunity arose for Ann to use her design skills along with her interest in up-cycling and re-purposing materials. Contracted by a local company Ann worked with their design team to save objects from the mill, giving them a new lease of life by transforming them into location friendly features and art installations for a local hotel whose building used to be the family home of the original mill owners.
From here Ann has gone on to create her own style of up-cycled furniture and large-scale artwork for interiors or commercial spaces, utilising bespoke creative designs to turn sentimental and historic artefacts into modern art work. Many examples of Ann’s work can be viewed and purchased on this site.
