Ann creates bold, abstract, and modern paintings for your home or commercial space.
The abstract nature of the paintings has emerged from analysis of structure and mark making, the techniques utilised throughout her textile career. Using these processes the paintings appear free and often random but are almost always based on an analysis of natural or man made structure.
Most importantly they offer the viewer a chance to find their own visual and emotional interpretation. Please view the shop for current artwork for sale or browse the gallery below for inspiration for bespoke commissions.
If you would like further images of a painting before you buy please get in contact.
I ensure my prices are clear and consistent by using size-based pricing — linear cm (h + w)x 2.5.
For example a 100 cm wide by 100 cm height painting would be calculated as follows (100+100) x 2.5 = 500 = £500
This makes pricing transparent and simple, if a commission is an unusual size and requires a hand made canvas (approx £35) or extra materials this would be reflected in the quoted price for approval.
